We are in the historic centre of Bologna

Residence Carducci is located on one of Bologna’s most characteristic streets, via Broccaindosso, famous because it once was the house of poet Carducci. This hotel is in the heart of the “San Vitale” area. On this street there are several traditional restaurants and, a few steps away, numerous sites to visit. Chief among them, there is the cathedral of Santa Maria dei Servi with its famous squared portico. Along the adjacent Strada Maggiore, there are two interesting museums, the “Museo Civico di Arte Industriale Davia Bargellini” (the museum of industrial art, located on the ground floor of the prestigious building “Palazzo dei Bargellini”) and the “Museo Internazionale e Biblioteca della Musica” (the international museum and library of music). For those who love paintings, on the nearby via Fondazza there is the museum “Casa Museo” of the celebrated Bolognese painter Giorgio Morandi and, in the University District, the “Pinacoteca Nazionale”, where works by Giotto, Raphael, and the Carracci are displayed.
