The context and the philosophy

Residence Petronio rises at the foot of the Two Towers, the characterizing monument of the city.
Its name derives from San Petronio, Bologna’s patron saint, an Italian bishop who guided Bologna’s diocese during the 5th century A.D.

Residence Petronio, former “Dalle Torri” hotel, has been carefully restored back to its original role.

Because of its strategic position, the Residence offers an easy way to visit the historical centre and all the main attractions: the main square and its monuments, the old market area, the University zone and Via Indipendenza, the vivid shopping street.
